Last night I decided to properly take care of my face and hands using my Evolve Organic Beauty samples. You get three little sample pots with every purchase which is a great way to try the range, especially as you can choose what you get.
I began by using the Daily Detox Facial Wash. It is for normal to oily skin and I have dry skin with an oily nose so I was worried it would make my skin feel tight. Luckily it didn’t. My skin felt well cleansed and ready for the next step.
The Radiant Glow Mask sample has “blueberry” written on it but it looks and smells chocolatey. Well, it contains blueberry seeds and cacao powder so that solves that mystery! I have used it before and it is one of the stars of the Evolve Beauty collection. It contains kaolin clay but because it also contains nourishing oils, it doesn’t dry out and crack. The blueberry seeds make a physical exfoliator which I know is not to everyone’s taste but it is gentle, as long as you are gentle with yourself. You leave it on for 5 minutes or so to let the clay work then you wet it, gently massage then rinse it off. My skin is left super smooth and glowing every time I use it. This time, I also used it on my hands because they have been pretty neglected lately and they looked brighter and felt smoother.
I followed the mask with my favourite Evolve Beauty product and favourite hyaluronic acid, the Hyaluronic Serum 200. I gently massaged it into damp my skin to lock in the moisture. I then finished with the Multi Peptide 360 Moisture Cream which is for dry skin so perfect for me. For a real self-care benefit, I made sure to focus on the upward strokes to apply the serum and cream and stayed in the moment rather than just mushing it in haphazardly and rushing to the next thing on my to-do list. I guess we can call that “mindful moisturising”.
The cream absorbed well and left my skin feeling incredibly soft. The fragrance is interesting but I can tolerate it. I’ll probably get a full-size of the Multi Peptide 360 Moisture Cream because it felt lovely on my hands too.
Today my skin was still smooth, soft and glowing as if I was wearing highlighter although I didn’t wear any makeup at all. I just love that natural glow from within. I recommend you try all of these Evolve Organic Beauty products – they really are that good!
